Review by hotel critic
Eden's House in Hexham was an absolute gem for our weekend getaway. the cosy cottage provided us with a perfect base to explore the stunning Northumberland countryside, especially Hadrian's Wall just a short drive away. As a lover of walking and history, this location was ideal for me. The private parking and complimentary WiFi were convenient bonuses, making our stay even more enjoyable. the fireplace in the cottage added a charming touch, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere after a day of exploring. And the super comfy bed ensured a restful night's sleep for us both. With the Abbey and local pubs just a short walk away, we had plenty of options for dining and entertainment. the recommendations for restaurants in the area were spot on, and we had an unforgettable birthday celebration at Bouchon Bistrot. the nearby amenities like the Lidl and Tesco made it easy to pick up supplies for our adventures. the attention to detail, cleanliness, and comfort of the cottage exceeded our expectations, making it a top choice for anyone looking to explore the beauty of Northumberland. I highly recommend it to fellow travelers seeking a peaceful and cosy retreat in a picturesque setting like Hexham.
